This is my compact portable Pimeta. It uses OPA227/2227 opamps, Vishay Draloric and Dale resistors,
4x 330uF/25V Panasonic FM rail caps, 1uF Panasonic MKT input caps, 3.3uF MKT PSU bypass caps, and a Panasonic EVJ potentiometer. I squeezed the EVJ into
the chassis by mounting it on it's side, and jumpering it via cat5 cable to the PCB pads. The whole thing is powered by a
single 9V battery. I usually use my 9.6V NiMH rechargable, as it gives over 10v when fresh, and a little extra headroom. I
originally had the opamps biased into Class-A, but decided to remove the bias in order to extend battery life (I noticed no
difference in the sound, either.).
I housed it in a serpac H-65 case, translucent grey. A small, low-current blue LED is visible through
the case to indicate power is on. The RCA jacks are some type I'd never tried before from mouser. At some point I'll
probably add a 2.5mm jack to allow it to be powered externally.
